Company Profile
Fluorinex Active was established in April 2004, at the initiative of Mr. Kamal Khawaled in collaboration with the New Generation Technology (NGT) Incubator in Nazareth, Israel.
NGT is part of the Israel National Incubator Program that supports and encourages entrepreneurial projects in the fields of technology and biotechnology. It is supported by the Office of the Chief Scientist of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and is the first joint Jewish-Arab incubator in Israel.
In June 2006, Fluorinex Active completed its two-year incubator phase, and successfully raised funds which permitted the company to proceed toward its ultimate commercial goals. These included:
- Filing of patents worldwide
- Finalizing the device configuration
- Conducting a very successful In-Vivo Safety Clinical Trial
- Completing preparations for Mass production
- Signing of Distribution Agreements worldwide
Pursuant to Syneron Medical's investment in April 2007, Fluorinex has increased its R&D efforts in the Teeth Whitening field and has developed its innovative Teeth Whitening device and method, which is estimated to offer the most efficient Teeth Whitening treatments in the market.
