The Market, Business Model and Strategy

Figures for the North American market show that 60 million dental fluoride gel treatments are performed each year, at a cost in excess of $3 billion. The second largest market is Europe in which turnover is presently about 43% of North American sales.
In order to shorten the time-to-market, Fluorinex will cooperate strategically with leading producers and distributors in the dental care and oral hygiene market.
The Company is presently investigating the possibility of forming local alliances and joint ventures in several countries, in order to penetrate markets and build value by gaining presence and potential revenue. The Company has already identified several such companies and is currently exploring the possibilities of collaboration in several territories.
Fluorinex will also approach world-wide organizations such as UNICEF (United Nations International Children's Agency Fund) in order to promote its innovation through its introduction into dental programs in depressed areas of the world.
The initial penetration mode of operation includes the involvement of dentists in the treatment process. However it is planned, during the second stage, to be sold in a "Home Care" mode for personal use. Through its marketing partners, Fluorinex will operate in collaboration with domestic dental associations, dental clinics, doctors, and other professionals.
The Company has recruited distinguished world leaders for its Scientific Advisory Board. These scientists assist in terms of scientific support and clinical guidance. Professor Ten Cate and Professor Eli Machtei are the initial members of the Board.
Another mode of market penetration is through insurance companies and federal healthcare agencies that would be interested in reimbursing most if not all of the cost of the Fluorinex procedure. Such a reimbursement policy on caries and cavities treatments exists already in many places. Fluorinex will approach these companies and agencies to include its product in their reimbursement lists.
