Fluorinex Whitening system technology

Fluorinex system technology is used to activate the hydrogen peroxide to produce free radicals needed to accelerate tooth bleaching in the whitening gel.
This is done by using electrochemical bathe including an electrolyte (to improve the conductivity of the gel), which activate the hydrogen peroxide.
Hydroxyl radicals (•OH) are generated by the electrolysis of hydrogen peroxide reaction as follows:
H2O2 + e- → •OH +OH- .
The professional teeth whitening systems in the market are using the light or leaser as a hydrogen peroxide activator, to produce the oxygen radical needed for tooth whitening.
Some are using a bleaching light system which produces a heating effect on the teeth, and others use bleaching light system that do not create a heat in the patient's teeth during the bleaching treatment.
